SAMSUNG - Bluebox Contest
Intro
In the context of global Christmas Samsung campaign that celebrates Giving, a local campaign was created to make us wonder if we have ever noticed which is our first reaction when someone is giving us a gift.
The universal human behavior that is revealed, further enhances campaign’s line : “The most precious gift is giving.”
Campaign’s digital activation “BLUEBOX” with the actual blue box as its key visual and as a symbolism to giving, had to follow this big idea.
Challenge
To make users ambassadors of giving via a digital contest.
Solution
A microsite was created in which users participated not to win the gift of their selection, but to give it to their beloved ones.
Users had to follow 2 easy steps:
-Select the gift of their preference among the available Samsung products (Galaxy NOTE8, Galaxy TabS3, GearVR, Gear360,Galaxy S8)
-mention on the online gift card the person that they would like to offer it.
Participants automatically could enter the electronic draw to win the gift they claimed for their beloved one.
Outcome
In almost 15 days more than 12.900 participations were recorded.
