Intro
This July, Pet City celebrated a significant milestone with the opening of their brand new offices in Metamorfosi. This move marks an exciting chapter in their journey and reflects their growth. That’s why we were called to organize an engaging internal communication event.
Challenge
The challenge was to create an event that not only introduced the new facilities but also strengthened team cohesion and enthusiasm. This was to ensure that every employee felt valued and excited about the move..
Solution
To tackle the challenge, we designed an internal campaign and event at the new facilities where everyone could feel welcomed, have fun on their first day at the new facilities, feel that they are a big part of the company’s progress, and build anticipation and engagement. On the event day, everyone was welcomed by the promo team and gathered for a tour of the new office space. At their desks, they found a welcome surprise: a welcome kit for each employee, including branded gifts such as a phone/card holder, a reusable water bottle, a biscuit, and stickers. To foster team spirit, we organized fun activities such as a pet-themed photo booth, where employees took lots of photos and had real fun. Additionally, we provided delicious refreshments and breakfast for everyone.
Outcome
The event was a resounding success, achieving all our objectives and more. The interactive tours effectively communicated the benefits of the new offices. The photo booth, as a team-building activity, was well-received, with employees expressing increased excitement about working in the new space. Feedback from the event was overwhelmingly positive, with many employees highlighting the welcoming atmosphere. The event not only marked the beginning of a new era for Pet City but also helped foster team spirit, making employees feel welcomed and ensuring they had fun on their first day.
